A Fond Farewell | Memorial Set for Guinea Pigs and Rabbits

Regardless of how small our furry companions might be, they still take up a big part of our lives. As pet parents ourselves, we know how difficult it is when it’s time for them to travel across the rainbow bridge, leaving their paw prints on our hearts.

To commemorate their lives and support you in your grieving journey, our team has designed this pet memorial set to guide you through wishing them a fond farewell.

The cremation memorial set comes with a ceramic urn to carry your pet’s ashes. While the burial memorial set comes with a fabric shroud to lay them to rest wherever you wish to do so.

Alongside that, you will find a stand-up photo frame you can use to create a shrine in their memory. In these frames, you can add up to 2 pictures that capture some of the wonderful times you spent together.

You will also receive a rainbow-themed locket to always keep a picture of your dear pet close to you, everywhere you go.

We also wanted to include something to guide pet parents through every step of the grieving journey. For this, we have created a set of supportive affirmation cards and a book on grieving the loss of a pet.

The affirmation cards contain mindful quotes and activities, and they’re something you can turn to whenever you need some support to get you through the day.

While the book is intended to offer guidance on losing a pet and navigating every stage of the grieving journey. Here, we touch on topics such as dealing with other people’s reactions to your loss, helping your remaining pet through their grief, and even learning how to use mindfulness to connect to specific feelings and work through them.

We hope that these materials will provide support during this difficult time, but understand that every pet parent will grieve differently. Anyone can go through the book and affirmation cards at whichever pace they prefer - there is no right or wrong way to grieve the loss of your beloved pet. Their memory will live on either way and we hope that with this set, you will find some comfort and be able to celebrate their life as they cross the rainbow bridge.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Urn for cremation: The guinea pig and rabbit cremation set comes with a ceramic urn you can use to contain the ashes of your pet. Either to keep in your home or to carry until you can scatter them somewhere meaningful to you and your dear pet.

Shroud for burial: The guinea pig and rabbit burial set includes a shroud that also contains a small inside pocket that can be used to add any keepsakes. Its fabric widens at the sides to make the shroud deeper and it can be secured around the pet by tying the string.

Affirmation cards: We have designed a set of positive affirmation cards with mindful quotes and activities to guide you through the grieving process. These small cards can be kept at hand to read whenever you most need it. 

Memorial keepsakes: Commemorate the life of your beloved pet with the rainbow-themed locket and stand-up photo frame, which can contain up to 2 photos and can be used to create a shrine in their memory. Once emptied, you can re-use the packaging box to store all keepsakes of your pet in one place.

Supportive book: This book is designed to guide you through every step of wishing a fond farewell to your beloved pet and support you through the various situations and emotions a grieving pet parent is likely to face at a time like this. The final pages also double as a journal where you can jot down your feelings or even write a letter to your dearly missed pet.

HOW TO USE

How to use the cremation set:

1. Open box when received, and place your pet’s ashes inside the urn.
2. Use the book as guidance through your grief.
3. Place affirmation cards somewhere visible to encourage positivity in this sad time.
4. Place photos of your pet inside the frame (2 slots of 6 x 4") and inside the locket.
5. Use the box for keepsakes of your pet.

How to use the burial set:

1. Open box when received, and gently place your pet’s body inside of shroud.
2. Fold the shroud around your pet and tie the string to secure. There is a pocket inside the shroud if there is anything you would like to bury with them.
3. Bury them at least 3ft deep. Many pet parents like to plant flowers or add memorial rocks to the mound.
4. Use the book as guidance through your grief.
5. Place affirmation cards somewhere visible to encourage positivity in this sad time.
6. Place photos of your pet inside the frame (2 slots of 6 x 4") and inside the locket.
7. Use the box for keepsakes of your beloved pet.

The ceramic jar is approximately 3.5in x 3.5in x 4.3in (9cm x 9cm x 11cm) in diameter. While the shroud is approximately 21.6in x 12.9in (55cm x 33cm).
